For 2 non-consecutive seasons I was brought onboard at Mount Hermon to document the daily activities of their satelite camp, Kidder Creek. This entailed project managment and coordination with camp directors, faculty, staff, and organizational leaders to ensure activities across the properties were documented with still photography, videography, and notation. I planned specific routes and equipment to ensure that the imagery created was of maximum quality for marketing purposes and for private sale to campers and their families. Likewise I directed image selection, color grading, retouching, video editing, print production, and asset management.
The accompanying gallery specifically highlights a selection of images from the Ranch Camp program at Kidder Creek. These images tell a comprehensive and emotional story about life on a ranch with creative composition and a range of subjects. It details the camper's connection to their animals, coursework, skills learned, lifestyle, and reltionships with other campers (not to mention the peaceful scenery of Siskiyou County, and the Klamath National Forest in Northern California.) The photographs have been rendered in black and white as an artistic choice, helping to unify the tone of the story across the duration of 10 months.
